Coos Bay, Oregon

This is our first posting. We recently moved to the Sacramento River Delta in California. The "we" referred to is one woman and one beagle, Susan and Amber. Our subject matter will be our explorations of the delta, but also any other experiences, ideas, travels, relationships, reading and viewing, or whatever comes along during our days and ways.
Right now we're in Coos Bay, Oregon with Susan's daughter, Sarah, and Sarah's dog, Coffee. Both Amber and Coffee like chasing games on the beaches, splashing in the waves and tide pools, and exploring the paths through the ferns and forests.

We left Rio Vista, on the delta, on Thursday, June 2 and drove to Cloverdale where we stayed with friends, Peter and Nani and Nick Schneider. The Schneider's house is in the middle of a large vineyard where it is safe for a beagle to run and explore. Friday we drove up highway 101, taking detours on the Avenue of the Giants to marvel at the Redwoods. We stayed that night in Trinidad after having a good run on the beach. Saturday we drove the rest of the way up the California and Oregon coasts to Coos Bay, where Sarah and Coffee had already settle in to our motel. And here we are.
